Ashley Gregory is a finance partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She represents private equity firms, their portfolio companies and corporate borrowers on a range of financing matters that span markets from middle market to large cap, investment grade to restructuring, including acquisition financings, corporate finance transactions, workouts, debt restructurings and capital structure management matters. She has been recognized every year since 2017 in Chambers Global, and every year since 2014 in Chambers USA, which describes her as “a true expert in corporate finance transactions”. From 2019–2021, IFLR1000 recognized her as a “Notable Practitioner” and the Legal 500 has described her as bringing “tremendous insightfulness” and “an ability to see the whole chessboard of what the client is trying to achieve.”
Ashley serves as the co-Chair of Kirkland’s Gender Subcommittee under its Firmwide Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and on its senior leadership Diversity Integration Task Force. Ashley received her J.D. from Columbia Law School and her B.A. from Princeton University. She is a David Rockefeller Fellow for the Partnership for New York City.
